how do i eqat and drink in the online game of hogwarts extreme. Also how do i get into role playing

I want to get an XBox 360 game for my brother for Christmas, what are some ones he might like? We both love the Grand Theft Auto and Left4Dead series, as well as Dead Rising (I know there’s a second one coming, but I think that’s after Christmas), and he’s also a big fan of war games such as Call of Duty and Medal of Honor. He’s quite fond of Fable II, also, and fighting games (like Marvel Vs Capcom for PS1). I’m going to ask him if he has any particular games in mind, but I wanted to know what else was out there, as well.
Other games he’s liked are (not going by platform):
God of War, BloodRayne, Pikmin, Final Fantasy X, Devil May Cry, Darkwatch, Legend of Zelda, various Star Wars, Black, Area 51, Kill Zone, Bloody Roar, etc
Soo, yeah, first person shooters, slash ‘em ups, adventures, etc.
Thanks :3

fantasy or medieval adventure type games like runescape or sherwood dungeon, and ones you don’t have to download.
NOT, and i repeat NOT text based

Hi guys
For those living in Australia, I would like to ask you what do you think will be the effect of the proposed internet “Rudd filter”, will it affect pings and latency in mmos and First Person Shooters.
For me, I have the Optus Fusion $99 plan and it’s no good for gaming as it is for counter strike (latency at 600 ms at best). Age of Conan (latency at 1200 ms) and its pretty unplayable. I cannot even imagine trying any other games like Cod online.
Please share your experiences with different isps in regards to gaming and latency.
Also, has anyone been affected by any other internet filters (such as uni or at work) etc?

I’m after a really cool adventure platform ds game which one out of this list would you recommend and why?
- Yoshi’s Island DS
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Professor Layton and the Curious Village
- Big Bang Mini
- Kirby: Canvas Curse
- The World Ends With You
- Meteos
- Bleach: The Blade of Fate
- Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
- N+
- Contra 4
- Kirby Squeak Squad
- Super Princess Peach

I have being playing games for about 15 years now, with plenty of first person shooters. But whenever I go online, even on a low skilled server or setting I get my **** completely kicked. Like now, I was just playing Call of Duty : World at War on the wii, and all that seems to happen is I either blast at them and somehow they survive, while I only take 1 shot to die, or they react much quicker than me and kill me on the spot. I’m normally lucky to get anything above about 3 kills in a round, with maybe 20 deaths. I get the same problem on the PC too. Is there anything I can do to improve my game playing?

I reccomend World of Warcraft. The graphics are great, the cost isn’t that bad and there are millions of players, literally. There’s something for everyone, RPG game style, PvP and just normal. I personally like PvP best, because then you really feel like you’re in a war with horde/alliance. Check it out at www.worldofwarcraft.com
and also catch the season 10 premier of South Park, where the kids save Azeroth for millions of players.

I have a 12 yr old stepson. I’m currently 9 months pregnant. His biological mother is not very involved in his life and the child live with my husband & me. He sees his mom about 2x a yr. I have been in his life for 3 yrs now. I made it clear from the start my role in his life as a parent & that I was not there to replace his mother. Yes I do parent, I provide limits, we share time, play games, I cook, clean, and care for him when he is sick. I help with school work, attend school conf.’s so I am raising him & expect him to respect me. I have never imposed him calling me by the title mother. he uses my given name. This is ok with me but he asked if he can call me mom. i wonder if this is stemming from my pregnancy. I never call him my stepson I ALWAYS refer to him as my son everywhere we go so he doesnt feel segregated. While his mother isnt involved I wonder if this could create tensions. I dont want to reject the child. I want to do what is right & responsible w/out hurting the child

I am looking for some new video games to play either for an Xbox 360 or a PC. I like fantasies and some first person shooters. I also like mysteries or conspiracies. I am looking for 3D environments and good graphics.
Some games that I have liked:
Dreamfall, Gears of War, Oblivion, Fable 2, Guild Wars, Assassin’s Creed, Army of 2, and Jade Empire.
I am into a lot of different stuff, but I usually go for a game because of it’s story, not because of combat. I also would like Co-Op.

I just read this online.
Scientists at the University of Rochester in the United States led by Daphne Bavelier, professor of brain and cognitive sciences, are studying fast-paced action video games such as Medal of Honor, Unreal Tournament and Call of Duty. They’ve found that in particular, first person shooters may help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination; they may also improve your attention and working memory and enhance your vision.
The interesting thing is, these skills translate into real life situations. You may need to use your peripheral vision to spot an enemy in Call of Duty, in the real world that same peripheral vision is needed when driving a car.
(yes i copied and pasted that)
Do you agree with them?
